PROFESSIONAL DIAGNOSTIC

CLEAR POLICIES

We require a full, professional diagnostic before repair so we can fix the right problem, warranty our work, and keep your vehicle safe.

Accurate diagnostic protects you, your vehicle, and everyone on the road.

Built Around Safety

We use proper testing, inspection, and fault-tracing—not quick guesses or parts-store scans.

Accurate diagnostic helps us catch related issues and unsafe conditions before you drive.

We won't shortcut diagnostics when it could compromise safety.

Warranty Starts With The Right Diagnosis

When we diagnose the concern ourselves, we can clearly explain what's wrong and stand behind the repair.

Our labor and parts warranty applies to work preformed from an official Swift's Automotive diagnosis, no guesswork.

Why a Professional Diagnostic Is Required

Diagnostic services are a paid professional offering that includes technician time, testing, and analysis. This is the reliable method to identify the root cause and recommend repairs.

Tiered Diagnostic Credit Towards Repair Labor

Labor $150—$299.99

Labor $300—$549.99

Labor $550—$949.999

Credit applies only to labor, not to parts, travel or tax (cash/card/ACH only)

Why Free Code Scans Are Not a Professional Diagnosis

Free parts store scans can read trouble codes, but they do not confirm the root cause of the problem. A code only shows where the vehicle’s system detected a fault, not which part has failed or why it happened. Swift’s Automotive uses proper testing, inspection, and fault tracing to confirm the actual issue before repairs are recommended.

When We Can Honor Outside Diagnostics

Clearly documented diagnosis from a recognized repair facility.

Straightforward, low-uncertainty repairs (e.g., starters, alternators, mounts, tune-up).

We proceed within the documented scope and clearly state that the diagnosis was provided outside Swift's Automotive, LLC.

When Our Own Diagnostics Are Required

Intermittent electrical issues and complex communication faults.

Advanced engine diagnostics and drivability concerns.

Repeat failures after another shop's repair or heavily modified vehicles.

Responsibility & Diagnostic Refunds

We may refund the $150 diagnostic fee (less travel and tax) if a concern cannot be diagnosed within the agreed scope.

Refunds may not apply when significant testing time  has been consumed but further authorized testing declined or vehicle condition limits normal testing.

We reserve the right to decline repairs based solely on an outside diagnosis when risk or uncertainty is too high.
